Aaron Kaleniecki
Aaron is the newest addition to the Helderop Pipe Organ family, but is no stranger to the Organ business. Aaron worked as a local representative for a digital organ company in Metro-Detroit and was one of the first in the area to pioneer Digital-Pipe Combination organs. He spent years studying acoustics, live sound engineering and the various schools of historic organ building which gave him the advanced knowledge to manipulate digital organ software allowing him to create seamless hybrid instruments. Aaron received a Bachelor of Music Degree from Wayne State University in 2001, and has been the Director of Music in several Metro-Detroit churches. He is currently the Director of Music at St. Aloysius and St. Patrick’s Catholic Churches in Downtown Detroit. As the Director of Music for this Cluster Community, Aaron oversees two independent Music Programs, which requires him to bi-locate between Parishes on the weekend.In 2007, Aaron founded Downriver Community Voices, which is an all-volunteer choral organization that has grown to 60 members and performs regularly in the Metro-Detroit Community.
He regularily prepares choruses for the Southern Great Lakes Symphony and has assissted in preparing mass-choirs for performances with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.In addition to his career as an Organ Consultant, Church musician and choral conductor, Aaron has played keyboard for Blues/Classic Rock and Oldies bands, he is a vintage electric guitar and hammond organ enthusiast, and he is also well known in auto-restoration circles specializing in early Corvettes and Camaros. Aaron serves on the Board of Governors for the Southern Great Lakes Symphony Orchestra as Vice-President, and he is a member of the “Music Advisory Committee” for the Archdiocese of Detroit. Aaron lives in Allen Park with his wife Ruth and their son Ralph.
